With the project ‘Let’s decide’, INSIDE students researched the relationship between the design of space and the design of the debate on the process and character of decision making. My individual research theme was ‘Group Decisions Process’ and it ended to propose a Neo-Online Platform. When sharing their different perspectives and opinions, an online platform could provide pleasant conditions for a group discussion. Meanwhile, it is common to see online debates which easily contain “serious” comments of strong bias and prejudice.
In addition, during the studio, we had to participate museum night at Rotterdam and A state of design 2017 at Berlin,Germany. With these presentations as a part of research and experience, I sophisticated an idea and a device proposal in terms of space.

Design
As a spatial designer, I came up with an idea to create a buffer zone between online offline; a transitional space in public which goes from the real person to online users.
Online Website Guide
Topic, Location-Based Status, 3 Different Taps for group discussion
The idea is similar to putting an internet kiosk in public, but when it comes to having an online group discussion, it has a value that people can be exposed and tackle the issue offline first, not via the online jungle. This proves the genuineness of their statements made online. This transitional platform can represent a new paradigm for the digital era and create a setting in order to generate better group decisions.
Self-Identification (One-Touch System).
Type A. Bus station /Standing Kiosk for group discussion.
